Frequently Asked Questions & Aftercare

How long do eyelash extensions last?

The longevity of eyelash extensions varies. Extensions may last over a month when done properly and with proper aftercare. Other factors include: the length of your natural eyelash growth cycle, your skin type, and skincare/makeup routine. On average, we have 50-150 lashes and we shed about five natural lashes every day. This is considered normal, healthy lash shedding. Be sure to schedule an appointment every 2-3 weeks for timely touch-ups to keep your lashes looking fresh and full.

How often should I get a fill?

To maintain the life of your lashes it is recommended that fills be done every 2-3 weeks. We do offer 1 week touch up appointments. There must be at least 40% of lashes remaining for it to be considered a fill. Also, anything over 4 weeks is considered a full set, and a full set price will be charged.

Will eyelash extensions damage my lashes?

No. As long as they are applied correctly by a professional and aftercare steps are followed; extensions will not damage your natural lashes. Purchasing our lash serum is also an added benefit because it can even be used while wearing extensions to maintain optimum lash health.

How do I care for my eyebrows after lamination?

The first 24 hours are the most important. Do not wet or touch your brows during the first 24 hours, and sleep face up if possible. The hairs are set to a fixed position, so avoid touching the hairs so they don’t stick or bend out of place. Then after 48 hours, you’re going to make sure that you are applying our Wink Boost Serum to rehydrate them. We can provide you with the proper aftercare for all of our services. We want your results to last!

How to take care of my lash extensions?

Extensions require maintenance and gentle care for the best retention.

  • Do not rub, pick, or pull on your lashes. Never try to remove them yourself.

  • Avoid water or any moisture for at least 24 hours. This includes saunas, facials, & swimming.

  • Avoid oil-based products, such as make up or removers, as oil will breakdown the adhesive.

  • Avoid using mascara.

  • Avoid Heat.

  • Brushing solves most problems. Try brushing the lashes gently if you notice something amiss.

  • Washing lashes is the most important. Be sure to cleanse daily with our lash bath to remove oil and dirt.

How to take care of my lash lift & tint?

Lash lifts are known for their lasting results and little maintenance. However, the 48 hours after are the most important. The treatment will still be solidifying, so you need to be very gentle with your eyes. Please do not get them wet or use oil-based products on them. If you feel any irritation, do not rub lashes, rather use a cool compress to calm the area.

Why do I need a facial?

Although facials may be viewed as a luxury service, it is more about the health and maintenance of the skin. Environmental factors, hormones, stress, and diet can impact your skin. Getting routine facials, at least once a month can help to:

• Unclog pores
•Reduce wrinkles
•Promote cell renewal
•Achieve a natural & youthful glow

If you are looking for faster results in any problematic areas, we recommend an appointment at least once a week over the course of a few weeks so we can get you those positive results you will love.
